2020 has been a year for the books! For those experiencing homelessness it has been an especially difficult winter, so we at the Elgin Street Mission wanted to plan something special for Christmas. On Tuesday December 22nd we partnered with the Lougheed Foundation, the City of Greater Sudbury and Allain Labelle in planning a Christmas Dinner.
Transportation with the City of Sudbury was arranged where clients where be transported from the Elgin Street Mission and Shelters to the Caruso Club in shifts to keep within COVID-19 protocols. We also put together a gift for all in attendance of personal care products.
This is an event designed to encourage and support our most vulnerable neighbors, an event of this magnitude cannot be done alone we are so thankful to our partners and volunteers.
