Rotary Sunrisers are again on a December mission for the Mission

We have two Big December Initiatives from Sudbury Sunrisers.

December is one of our busiest and most meaningful months of the year, and our Rotary Sunrisers Club is once again stepping up in two powerful ways to support our Elgin Street Mission and our homeless population along with our community.

  1. Our Nutrition for the Mission – Taking place at Chris’s Independent on Lorne Street
Our annual food-drive partnership is back!
We’ll be at Chris’s Independent collecting groceries, essentials, and donations to help keep the Mission stocked through the winter months.
This community-driven initiative directly supports the hundreds of individuals who rely on the Mission every day.
Come say hi, donate a food item, or help spread the word — every bit makes a difference. 💛
  2. Mission Service Nights – December Meal Service
We’re also hosting our yearly Mission Service Nights, where groups of friends, families, and co-workers volunteer together to serve supper at the Elgin Street Mission.
Groups include 8–10 volunteers, and each participant donates $25–$30 toward the fundraising effort.
Service runs from 4:30–7:30 p.m., and we have only a few dates left for December.
If your group would like to take part in this hands-on, heart-forward evening of service, message me or leave a pm so Sally can connect with you to coordinate the schedule.
Together, these two initiatives help nourish both bodies and spirits during one of the hardest seasons of the year.

Thank you for always showing up, Sudbury, for our most vulnerable people in our community. You are appreciated. And we can’t do it without you!
